I want to thank
you for your interest in the Vernon Independent School District. We are
very proud of the services we provide our children. Vernon ISD personnel
are committed to providing an educational opportunity that prepares our
students to compete in a technology rich society that will continue to
evolve the next step in their educational journey. |

Additionally, Vernon ISD extends an
excellent opportunity for students to expand their interests by participating
in extracurricular activities. A well-rounded selection of extracurricular
activities at Vernon Middle School and Vernon High School governed by
the University Interscholastic League, allows students to experience literary
and sport competition outside classroom instruction. Much of our success
is due to the commitment and teamwork of our parents, teachers, community
members, administrators, and most importantly, our students. We take pride
in the successes we have already attained, but we continue to raise the
bar for ourselves in order to meet the ever-rising expectations of our
society. |

Vernon ISD serves a diverse student population
and views this as a wonderful opportunity shape the education of the district
and the state. We will accept nothing but the best for each student enrolled
in our six-campus setting by providing a challenging curriculum to meet
the educational needs for all students. We are proud of our past and present

we embrace the challenges that are presented to us at the federal and
