During their field trip to Copper Breaks State Park last Friday, our first grade classes took a moment to take class pictures.

On Friday, our McCord 1st Graders had a lot of fun on a field trip to Copper Breaks State Park. Along with hiking and playing Native American games, the students also saw Native American and cowboy artifacts, as well as animal skins and skulls at the museum, and were also able to pet and feed the Longhorns.

Students in Mr. Pedigo's chemistry class completed a fun -- and tasty -- experiment on Friday. They had the task of making s'mores as a way to help them learn and understand limiting reactants. From what we've heard, all outcomes of the experiment were properly destroyed, or devoured, as the case maybe.
