This is the last week of our Kids Heart Challenge!
We hope your student has been having fun and learning lots of new things about helping their hearts and helping others! You're doing our community a HUGE favor by helping to bring the awareness to heart disease, stroke, and CPR. The awareness leads to funding, and the funding leads to hope to ANYONE with a heart!
Can you help us by: thinking of 10 family or friends who love to help and send them a message through the VES KHC page or app!? http://www2.heart.org/site/TR?fr_id=11259&pg=company&company_id=479759

Our Health Careers Program is sponsoring a Blood Drive tomorrow for Our Blood Institute, which supplies blood for all area hospitals, including Wilbarger General. There is a competition between school Health Career Programs in our district to see which one can collect the most blood during the school year. Currently, Vernon and Iowa Park are neck-and-neck in the race. Stop by and donate tomorrow. One unit of blood can save 3 lives, and also help our Health Careers Program win the district race.

Here is the VISD cafeteria menu for March. All of our VISD students are eligible to receive a free breakfast and lunch every school day.
