Paleontologists named it "Chunk-ay". Bowling, marbles and soccer are games that have get their roots from this game. Scientists were able to gather knowledge about this game thru contextual data.

Seven VHS seniors have been nominated for 2025 Homecoming King. Those nominees are Prentice Murray, Carlos Moreno, Tru Gipson, Jamari Chance, Ty Scott, Mason Ballard, Ben Armstrong, and (not pictured) Kadyn Whiteside. This year, instead of students voting for homecoming king, the nominee who raises the most money will be named the 2025 Homecoming King. So, these young men may be conducting fundraisers between now and our Oct. 10 homecoming. All money raised will go towards VHS student and Student Council activities and projects.

For those who will be attending the JV football game in Burkburnett. You can purchase tickets online at: https://www.burkburnettisd.org/o/athletics/page/event-tickets and at the gate. Also, please be aware that Burkburnett ISD has a clear bag policy that is explained below.
